About the Role

• Partner with regional business teams in understanding product offerings and costing/ pricing strategies to optimise profit targets
• Work with relevant stakeholders to prepare financial analyses and models that assist in the senior management’s evaluation of strategic business initiatives, investment opportunities and business expansion plans
• Creation of templates and activities to support the completion of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Engage in and contribute to the annual budget planning process and ongoing quarterly rolling forecasts, taking full ownership of validating the multi-year financial forecast of revenue, direct costs, operating expenses, assets and cash flow
• Compiling analysis reports and schedules (including KPIs, sales, revenue, projects, pipeline and costs drivers)
• Compute and provide commentaries on forecasted and actual variances, communicating business performance trends to stakeholders including the senior management
• Ensure adoption and correct accounting treatment in accordance with IFRS across the region (US GAAP may be required)
• Involvement in overall month end closing activities including Group consolidation
• Key balance sheet reconciliations including accurate intercompany recharge between related companies
• Support the maintenance and development of financial control processes and governance for the Group
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business needs as required
• Participate in various ad hoc projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance or Accountancy, qualified accountant including ACCA or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in FP&A or in similar practice

  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and drive solutions

  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to model/ forecast and handle big data sets of multiple entities

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Commercial acumen with ability to understand financial impact of operational decisions/ actions and interpret information to non-finance stakeholders

  • Good understanding of financial markets and investor relations

  • Proactively keeping up to date with accounting standards

  • Flexible and adaptable to a fast pace environment

  • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with strong sense of operational discipline and ability to meet tight deadlines
